The central board of secondary education (CBSE) Delhi conduct an entrance test – CBSE PMT Exam – For Filling 15% government quota seats under Government of india. The entrance test is conduct for admission into the undergraduate course in the field or medical (MBBS) and dental (BDS) science. CBSE PMT exam or all india pre medical Test (AIMPT) is a national level entrance test.

Eligibility for the admission in government quota in various private and dental institute of india, any Indian National can appear in CBSE PMT/ AIPMT entrance test. in order to appear in the test. he/she has to fulfil all the needed qualification, which are given below.

  1. The candidate has to complete his/her 17 years of age. The maximum age for the entrance test is 25, but for the SC/ST candidate, there is a relaxation of 5 years.
  2. The candidate can appear for the entrance test only three times, as per norms of the board .
  3. The aspirant must have passed in higher secondary certificate examination /intermediate /pre degree examination/ Pre-professioanl / Pre medical examination or its equivalent with not less then 50% marks(40%marks for SC-PH/ST PH/OBC-PH) in aggregate in physics, Chemistry, Biology and english , from any central board of secondaryeducation (CBSE) or any other recognize board.
  4. The candidate, Who are appearing in qualification examination or who have appeared in the examination and waiting for results, may also apply for the competitive entrance test. But those candidates are not eligible, who have passed the qualifying examination with required percentage of marks.
